The Psychic Potential Among Average People

Abstract
This study was conducted to see if participants could perceive psychic energy. A series of trials was conducted in a naturalistic setting in which the participants were asked to try and figure out which hand, left or right, the researcher was projecting energy from. The results showed at a statistically significant level that people could in fact perceive psychic energy. Hopefully these data can be used in a variety of fields from health care to psychological diagnosis.
The Psychic Potential among Average People
In 1995, I had a near death experience and afterwards, I was left with extraordinary abilities. Some of these abilities include limited clairvoyance, the ability to see auras, and the most important to this study, the ability to project psychic energy. It was these changes in my mind and body that first compelled me to begin a study in the field of parapsychology, and later compelled me to perform this experiment to better understand myself. This however, was not the only reason.In recent years, there has been more and more attention being paid to the paranormal and unexplained activities in society as a whole, especially in the media (Nisbet, 1998). In fact, the idea for this experiment came from one I saw on a newsmagazine called "20/20", except that their experiment was flawed in its logic most likely because a very young girl performed it. The young girl's experiment was designed to measure whether people could sense psychic energy produced by the body (Researchers, 1998).
